How this game works

Focused practice, useful feedback

This mixed test moves through addition, subtraction, multiplication, and exact division. The question generator balances operations and prevents long runs of the same symbol.

Standard difficulty uses mostly Tier 3 questions with a smaller share of Tier 2 and Tier 4. That creates a brisk test for teenagers and adults without introducing fractions, decimals, or negative answers.

Try these techniques

Calculate with less friction

398 + 211 ≈ 600

Estimate the size

A quick estimate helps you catch digit slips before submitting.

74 + 38 = 74 + 30 + 8

Split by place value

Break the second number into tens and ones to reduce working-memory load.

144 ÷ 12 = 12

Use inverse checks

Multiplication facts provide a fast check for exact division.
